This British made starter motor spins the engine faster to a greatly reduce the risk of flooding your RX-8 both hot and cold.
As owners know, the early RX-8 starter was a very slow starter motor that Mazda then revised so it would spin a little faster, so as Mazda Rotary Parts was aware of this problem it has now developed its own British made starter motor faster than the Mazda starter motor.
If you would like to look at the picture you will see the new MRP starter has a longer more powerful main body than the ineffective Mazda unit shown on the left .
The new MRP RX-8 starter motor also carries a full 1 year warranty which is the same as you would get from Mazda and should cost 35% less than the equivalent Mazda starter motor.
