HKS' SF5 springs are the latest in progressive rate springs and have been designed to improve your vehicle's looks and handling characteristics while maintaining ride comfort Installing SF5 springs will result in flatter cornering, better transitional response, and less weight transfer during rapid acceleration or braking. HKS springs are designed and manufactured using CAD technology and CNC machinery.
Being constructed of oil tempered silicon-chromium steel wire that is thinner and stronger than ordinary steel wire, allows the springs to be formed at specific spring rates with fewer coils. Less coils allows for more stroke and lower vehicle height. Each spring is shot penned, pre-fatigued, and electro-statically powder coated for durability. The SF5 line of springs offer a 5 year or 50,000km (approximately 31,000miles) warranty not to sag 5mm or more past the listed drop.
